Massage for Emotional Wellness

Anxiety and stress are often stored in key areas of the body.  Often this results in tension in the associated muscles, however it can also trigger pain, insomnia, and even digestive issues.  Regular therapeutic massage is an excellent tool to combat these issues and maintain a great sense of well-being.  Patients often report feeling relaxed after therapeutic massage, however they also report better concentration, reduced irritability, and improved sleep.  Help take control of your mind-body health, and schedule your therapeutic massage today.

Massage for the Cure

Throughout the month of September, I am donating $5 from each massage session to the Susan G Komen Foundation to help with the fight for breast cancer. Why am I doing it? Because nearly 1.3 million men and women are diagnosed each year. Breast cancer does not discriminate. It affects every age, race and gender and is the most prevalent cancer diagnosed today.

Over the years, I have participated in the Race for the Cure several times and this year is no different. On October 1st, I will crawl out of bed, drink my cup of coffee, pull on the running shoes and join the masses in pink through the Charlotte streets in an effort to help bring awareness to this fight and "Save the Ta-Tas." I can't wait!!! I love this run and the energy that surrounds it. The diversity of people and camaraderie for the cause it just overwhelming. When I signed up for the run, I decided that I would commit to the cause each day leading up to it and I am sticking to my guns.  I have decided to take a piece of each massage session and support from each client with me to the run. How can I do that? It is simple. Make a donation. I am collecting $5 from each massage session during the month of September and will be making a lump sum donation to the cause. This allows me to discuss the cause and bring awareness to those I come in contact with. As well, I am able to let my clients know they are supporting me on race day and becoming a force in the fight.  I look forward to this event and the good it will bring.
